Replicants are synthetic humanoid creatures. They walk the cities and are hard to distinguish from real humans at times...

They need drugs to keep their minds clear, or they will go mad and eventually die. When clear, their minds are strong and able to control great psi powers. This combined with their natural strength and resistance to pain makes them highly adaptable.

Replicants are a remort race option. It is not known whether they dream about unicorns... or electric sheep.
