The Nexus isn't a zone in normal play. The only way to spend time there is to be ''sentenced'' to spend time there. This is where we send our misbehaving players. Rather than simply using the old one-room jail cell, a player is free to explore a sickening alternate universe version of the [[The Space Station|space station]]: somewhat like the way the Star Trek universe has a "dark mirror". In our alternate, the Space Station is ruled by a ruthless man called Gunther, and the denizens of 'our' universe are corrupted, in hiding, or dead.

[[Vader]] always thought it was a mistake to have a zone specially made for misfits. Most MUDs would simply ban repeat offenders, after all... and it's certainly not seen much use. So why spend time constructing a zone for Wormhole's least welcome citizens? Maybe he was right. Anyway, it exists: a little piece of Wormhole history.
